Let’s be honest: 15 minutes isn’t going to tell you what it feels like to be sitting with me when you’re feeling the lowest of low, when it took everything you had just to get to your appointment. Or when you’re mourning the loss of your relationship, or your parent, or your pet. Or, on the flip slide, when we’re celebrating you making progress on that long-held goal of yours, or looking back on lots small changes that have made all the difference.

And.
We can get a sense of each other and see whether we want to enter into a therapeutic relationship. If I’m not a fit for you, no worries. The way my brain works or my therapeutic style might not be what you’re looking for. That’s ok! Just let me know. And, if I’m not the right therapist for you, I’ll also let you know: I might not be able to treat you based on my experience or training. Not every therapist is for every client, and vice versa. That’s just life!
